503RADAR // PRESS & DATA

Press & data

503Radar is an independent, ad-free outage monitor. It fuses public crowd signals with official status feeds and often surfaces incidents before the provider acknowledges them — with the gap measured and published. Every confirmed outage keeps a permanent record, and every provider has a standing outage history.

Why the data holds up

honesty is the product

Confirmed-only archive

Nothing enters the incident archive unless the engine confirmed it — corroborated crowd evidence or the provider's own status page. No synthetic events, ever.

Receipts on every number

Incident pages quote their crowd evidence with source links and link the official status record where one exists. Lead times are our own timestamped sensor observations.

No ads, no tracking, no paywall

503Radar is independent and free. There is no incentive to inflate outages — a false alarm costs us the only asset we have.

Open methodology

The detection model — evidence classes, thresholds, confirmation rules — is public on the methodology page. "Healthy" means no current adverse signal, not an uptime guarantee.

Embed a live status badge

README-ready

Every provider has a live SVG badge at /badge/{provider}.svg — it mirrors the board's state and updates within minutes. Markdown for a README:

[![AWS status](https://503radar.com/badge/aws.svg)](https://503radar.com/provider/aws/)

Prefer shields.io styling? Point it at the endpoint JSON: https://img.shields.io/endpoint?url=https://503radar.com/badge/aws.json — swap aws for any provider slug from the board.
